Vanderbilt Twombly Estate Collection

Materials that focus on the period when Florham was the country estate of Florence Vanderbilt and Hamilton Twombly. Currently includes some photographs of the Estate, and a finding aid for the Friends of Florham Archive at the Florham-Madison Campus of Fairleigh Dickinson.

Twombly-Burden Accounting Ledgers

A collection of accounting ledgers belonging to the Twombly family when Florham was their home. Digitization and transcription of handwritten text was made possible by a grant from the Friends of Florham.

A collection of selected theses related to special topics in the history of Northern New Jersey.

Fairleigh Dickinson University History

A collection of photos of the Rutherford, Madison, and Teaneck/Hackensack campuses of Fairleigh Dickinson, from its earliest years in the 1940s as Fairleigh Dickinson College, through the 1980s.

Becton Dickinson Corporation History Exhibition

Images from a traveling exhibition about the history of FDU sponsored by the Becton Dickinson Corporation, who were instrumental in the founding of Fairleigh Dickinson University. The exhibition was held in 2009, with a date given of May 8, 2009. Richard Kushnier was the curator.

Hackensack Meadowlands Papers

Maps and documents digitized as part of a joint project with the New Jersey Meadowlands Commission. Materials are related to the history of the Meadowlands and the founding of the NJ Meadowlands Commission.
